   Detroit Southeastern rolled to a 43-0 football win over Detroit Public School League Division 4 foe Detroit Osborn on Friday, Oct. 9, at Osborn.

   Southeastern improved to 4-0 overall and 3-0 in the division with the victory. The Jungaleers have outscored opponents 150-0 this season.

   Junior De’Sean Matthews opened the scoring for Southeastern with a 20-yard touchdown run. Sophomore Isaiah Clemmons ran in the conversion to make the score 8-0 with 7:01 left in the first quarter.

   Senior quarterback Leron Roseboro connected with senior Kasaries Crumsey for a 41-yard touchdown with 3:31 left in the quarter to increase the lead to 14-0.

   Freshman Ashton Smith recovered a fumble on the kickoff and then Roseboro immediately connected with senior Donald Echols for a 37-yard touchdown. Junior Karon Allen ran in the conversion on a broken play to make the score 22-0 with 2:52 left in the quarter.

   Matthews added a 20-yard touchdown run and Allen had the point after to increase the lead to 29-0 at halftime.

   Roseboro found Matthews for a 15-yard touchdown pass and Allen added the PAT to make it 36-0 with 11:25 left in the third quarter and begin a running clock.

   Roseboro tossed his fourth touchdown of the game with 1:58 left in the quarter, connecting with senior Marquise Dancy for a 52-yard connection. Allen added his third PAT to make the final 43-0.

   Matthews finished with 241 yards rushing and Roseboro totaled 263 yards through the air. Junior Dominic Harris had seven tackles and five sacks for Southeastern

   Southeastern will play Detroit Central (4-0) for a PSL championship on Friday, Oct. 16, at 5 p.m. at Detroit Collegiate Preparatory at Northwestern.

    Detroit Cass Technical (4-0) will play Detroit Martin Luther King Jr. (3-1) in the other PSL championship on Saturday, Oct. 17, at noon at Detroit Collegiate Preparatory at Northwestern. Cass Tech beat King in their openers, 34-26.

Detroit Central 49, Detroit Collegiate Preparatory at Northwestern 0: Elijah Grainger threw for 277 yards, ran for 80, and had five total touchdowns, Jus’tyz Tuggle had four receptions for 175 yards and two touchdowns, Kenyatta McKeever had three receptions for 103 yards and one touchdown for Central (4-0). Collegiate Prep is 1-3.

Detroit Henry Ford 62, Detroit Douglass 0: Cardier Pollnietz had a 60-yard touchdown reception, Corion Pollnietz had a 30-yard touchdown reception, Steven Grimes threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns, and Darrius Gaines had 12 tackles and two sacks for Henry Ford (3-1). Douglass is 0-4.

Detroit Western International 28, Detroit Denby 12: Donovan Cole was 6-for-13 passing with one passing touchdown and two rushing touchdowns and one interception on defense, Lamont Parks had eight catches for 93 yards with a 36-yard touchdown, Mekhi Fortt had 14 carries for 126 yards and a 91-yard kickoff return, and Marquise Hare had seven tackles for loss and two sacks for Western (3-1). Denby is 2-2.

Detroit Cass Technical 52, Detroit Cody 0: Cass Tech improved to 4-0. Cody fell to 0-4.

Detroit Martin Luther King, Jr. 40, Detroit East English Village 0: King improved to 3-1. East English fell to 0-4.

Detroit Pershing 36, Detroit Communication & Media Arts 20: Persing improved to 2-2. CMA fell to 2-2.

Detroit Mumford 19, Detroit Renaissance 12: Mumford improved to 3-1. Renaissance fell to 1-3
