2019 Football Championships
The Michigan High School Athletic Association announced the 2019 high school playoff pairings on Sunday, Oct. 27.
Teams were divided into four-team districts, then paired into four regions. The pairings were based on regular-season playoff point averages, with the team with the most points hosting. After the first round, the highest-ranked team will host.
First-round 11-player games began Nov. 1-2, followed by district finals on Nov. 8-9, regional finals on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15-16, state semifinals on Nov. 23, and the state finals at Ford Field on Nov. 29 and 30.
The 8-player playoffs began Nov. 1-2, followed by regional finals on Nov. 8-9, semifinals on Nov. 15-16, and the state finals at Superior Dome in Marquette on Nov. 23.
