Pontiac Notre Dame Preparatory senior quarterback Jacob Bendtsen (12) passes against Milford on Friday.

   Pontiac Notre Dame Preparatory improved to 3-1 with a 21-6 football victory over Milford on Friday, Oct. 9, at Milford.

   Senior quarterback Jacob Bendtsen connected with senior Clayton Bone for an eight-yard touchdown pass with 3:43 left in the first quarter.

  Milford got on the board with a 70-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but the conversion failed to cut the lead to 7-6.

   Bone ran for a four-yard touchdown to increase the lead to 14-6 with

 3:00 left in the half.

  Less than two minutes later, Bendtsen connected with Bone again for a 57-yard touchdown. The play was set up by an Irish interception.

   Bendtsen finished 15-of-24 for 187 yards and two touchdowns. Bone totaled 75 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

   Senior Michael Kirchner carried the ball 27 times for 122 yards.

   Notre Dame Prep travels to Flint Beecher (4-0) on Saturday, Oct. 17.
