Six Bloomfield Hills' defenders tackle a Pontiac player on Friday.

   Bloomfield Hills remained undefeated on the young football season with a dominating Oakland Activities Association Blue Division 41-6 victory over Pontiac on Friday, Sept. 3, at historic Wisner Stadium.

      The Black Hawk defense controlled the Phoenix throughout the game, forcing numerous turnovers and allowing only one first down. The Phoenix never got past their 39-yard line. Pontiac’s only score came on a fumble recovery.

   Junior quarterback CJ Jackson tossed a five-yard touchdown pass to senior Shane Winter for the Black Hawks’ first score.

   Jackson rushed for a one-yard touchdown early in the second quarter to increase the lead to 14-0.

   After an interception by senior Drew Speaks, Jackson connected with junior DJ Lee for a 16-yard touchdown to make the score 21-0 at halftime.

   Winter returned an interception 15 yard for a touchdown with 6:37 left in the third quarter to give Bloomfield Hills a 28-6 lead.

   Jackson rushed for his second touchdown four minutes later from one yard out.

   Senior Cole Rodriguez rushed for a two-yard touchdown and senior Jack Boike kicked his fifth point after seconds into the fourth quarter to make the final score 41-6.

   The rest of the quarter was played under a running clock.

   Bloomfield Hills (2-0/2-0) plays a non-league game against Waterford Kettering (0-2) on Friday, Sept. 10.
