   Catholic High School League powerhouse Clarkston Everest College shutout Sterling Heights Parkway Christian 47-0 on Friday, Nov. 6, in a Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 8, District 64 football semifinal at Everest.

   Everest improved to 8-0 overall with the victory and advances to face CHSL rival Royal Oak Shrine Catholic on Saturday, Nov. 14, in the district final at 1 p.m. Shrine (6-2) edged Auburn Hills Oakland Christian 22-19 in its semifinal game.

 

  Everest beat Shrine 41-7 on Oct. 17.

   Everest beat Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 41-0 in its playoff opener on Oct. 30. Shrine downed Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes 41-6 in its opener.

   Everest beat Riverview Gabriel Richard 35-0 on Oct. 24 to earn its third-straight CHSL Cardinal Division championship.

   The Mountaineers have outscored opponents 123-0 in the past three weeks.
