   Detroit Henry Ford pounded Detroit Public School League Division 3 rival Detroit Collegiate Preparatory at Northwestern 52-0 on Friday, Oct. 2, at Henry Ford’s Joe Hoskins Field.

   The Trojans raced to a 36-0 lead at halftime and the second half was played under a running clock.

   Henry Ford scored early in the game on a 32-yard touchdown run by senior Jaylon Jones. Senior Cardier Pollnietz ran for the conversion to make the score 8-0.

   Pollnietz connected with Jones later in the quarter for a 30-yard touchdown pass to make the score 14-0.

   Sophomore Damario Hudson Jr. returned a fumble 20 yards for a touchdown to increase the lead to 20-0.

   After an interception by senior Travell Freeman, senior Emaunie Green rushed for a 10-yard touchdown. Pollnietz’ conversion run increased the lead to 28-0.

   Senior Eugene Walmsely recovered a fumble and ran 25 yards for a touchdown and Jones ran in for the conversion to make the game 36-0 at halftime.

  Pollnietz added a touchdown and  Jones added another conversion to increase the lead to 44-0 in the third quarter.

   Senior Kamren Gray rushed for the final touchdown to make the final 52-0.

   Henry Ford improved to 2-1 on the second. Collegiate Prep fell to 1-2 with the loss.

   After falling to Detroit Central 8-7 in its opener, Ford has outscored its next two opponents 104-6.

   Henry Ford host Detroit Douglass (0-3) on Friday, Oct. 9.

Detroit Mumford 36, Detroit Cody 6: Daequan Rollins had two rushing touchdowns and had a 67-yard interception for a touchdown. Justin Coopwood had seven tackles and two sacks, and Jonathan Scott had nine tackles with three tackles for loss for Mumford (2-1). Cody is 0-3.

Detroit Martin Luther King Jr. 41, Detroit Denby 0: Dante Moore went 10-for-13 passing for 126 passing yards and five touchdowns. Rahiim Mersier had two receiving touchdowns for King (2-1). Denby is 2-1.

 

Detroit Central 58, Detroit Douglass 0 : Jus'tyz Tuggle had three touchdowns with 226 total yards and a 32-yard fumble return for a touchdown, Elijah Grainger was 7-for-7 passing with two passing touchdowns and a 15-yard touchdown run with one interception, and David Mitchell returned a fumble for 13 yards for Central (3-0). Douglass is 0-3.

Detroit Western International 28, Detroit East English Village 0: Mekhi Fortt had 14 carries for 173 yards and two rushing touchdowns with one interception, Donovan Cole had one rushing touchdown and a 33-yard passing touchdown to Shamar Bellenger, and Lamont Parks had one interception for Western (2-1). East English is 0-3.

Detroit Pershing 36, Detroit Osborn 0: Fred Ealy ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns and had a 50-yard interception for a touchdown, Narone Parker caught a 60-yard touchdown pass, Tyreese Orr caught a 40-yard touchdown pass and Jaden Cunningham had a 10-yard rushing touchdown for Pershing (1-2). Osborn is 0-3.

Detroit Cass Technical 49, Detroit Renaissance 7: The Technicians improved to 2-0/3-0. The Phoenix is 1-1/1-2.

Detroit Southeastern 45, Detroit Communication & Media Arts 0: The Jungaleers stayed undefeated at 2-0/3-0. The

Pharaohs fell to 1-1/2-1/
