Junior Carson Roose passed for 423 yards and seven touchdowns to lead Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett to a dominating 54-0 football victory over Mt. Clemens on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Liggett.
Liggett led 35-0 at halftime.
Sophomore Jack Jones caught seven passes for 164 yards, two touchdowns, and two conversions. Sophomore Oliver Service had four catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Junior William Edwards caught two touchdown passes. Senior Malik Pierce caught six passes for 52 yards and a touchdown and conversion.
Liggett (1-1/0-1) travels to Catholic High School League Intersection 1 rival Macomb Lutheran North (0-2/0-2) on Friday, Oct. 2.
