   Dearborn Heights Robichaud scored 31 unanswered points in the second half to rally past Western Wayne Athletic Conference rival Redford Thurston 37-14 on Friday, Sept. 18, at Thurston in its 2020 season opener.

   Robichaud was down 14-6 at halftime.

   Senior quarterback Dior Brown rushed for an 11-yard touchdown with 7:55 left in the third quarter and junior Jaylen Carter rushed for the conversion to tie the game at 14-14.

   Robichaud would score 23 more points in the half to give new head coach Lorenzo Robertson his first win as a Bulldog.

   Brown finished with 129 yards passing and one touchdown pass and two

rushing scores. Carter added a touchdown run and he totaled two conversion runs and a conversion pass.

   Senior Isaac Thomas finished with 80 yards rushing and 84 yards receiving with a touchdown catch. Junior Xavier Norris led the defense with four tackles. Junior Timothy Bennett recovered a fumble for a touchdown.

   Robichaud won the conference title last season thanks to a one-point win over Thurston, finishing 9-3 overall and 6-1 in conference.

   Robichaud (1-0/1-0) hosts Redford Union (0-1/0-1) on Friday, Sept. 25. Thurston (0-1/0-1) will travel to Dearborn Heights Annapolis (0-1/0-1) on Friday.
