   Waterford Mott rallied to beat Wyandotte Roosevelt 37-14 and remain undefeated in non-league football action on Thursday, Sept. 2, at Mott.

   Roosevelt led 7-0 and the game was tied 7-7 at halftime. Roosevelt scored first in the second half t0 lead 14-7 before Mott scored the final 30 points to secure the victory.

   Sophomore quarterback Kalieb Osbourne led Mott on the night, rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown and passing for 193 yards and three

 

touchdowns (senior Eric Davis, senior Ashton Tong  and senior TeShawn Johnson). Osbourne finished the night 20-for-25 through the air.

   Senior Daniel Keiser led Mott with 11 tackles. Senior Ashton Tongs had eight tackles, and senior DJ Baylors added seven tackles.

   Mott improved to 1-0/2-0 with the victory. Mott beat Walled Lake Central (0-2/0-2) 27-3 in its opener on Aug. 26.

   Mott hosts South Lyon East (1-1/1-1) in a conference game on Friday, Sept. 10. East beat Waterford Kettering (0-2/0-2) 39-12 in its game on Thursday.
